NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL POLICY: ONCE AGAIN ABOUT AN ABSOLUTE NECESSITY OF MODERNIZATION AND KEY DEVELOPMENT PARAMETERS

Abstract

In keeping on the multi-year set of his publications in «Russian Economic Journal» on development of a vigorous state (national) industrial policy in post-soviet Russia, the author, first, once again reasons this necessity by the need for reversing the nation’s ongoing deindustrialization trend. Second, he suggests a framework of categories specifying the contents of national industrial policy (at federal level), reviews the main principles of its elaboration and pursuance, as well as selection criteria of its priorities, industrial complex, deindustrialization, reindustrialization, post-industrial modernization, radically liberal course

ECONOMIC CRISIS AND REVIVAL: CONCERNING REFINEMENT OF CRITERIA

Abstract

The article proposes an original «expansive» (common for capitalism and socialism) interpretation of economic crises phenomenon, the respective economic revival criteria, and of success of national anti-crisis policy. The author approaches the past, present and future crisis in Russia precisely from these nontrivial positions, as well as evaluates the anti-crisis policy of Russian authorities

HOT ON THE TRACES («RUSSIA AND WTO» STORY IN TERMS OF MARXIST APPROACHES TO DICHOTOMY «FREETRADE – PROTECTIONISM»)

Abstract

The article, reprinted from «Sovetskaya Rossiya» newspaper, suggests a unique analysis of Russian authority decision on Russia membership in WTO: this decision is evaluated with regard to the author’s interpretation of the opinion of Marxism founders and V.I.Lenin with respect to freetrade and protectionist system relationships. The specifics of the interpretation along with the author’s estimates of socio-economic and socio-political situation, established in this country, lead the author to the conclusion on positive consequences of WTO accession for Russia, which is unusual for a representative of the Left
